เรื่องย่อ:  บัดนี้ โป ได้ใช้ชีวิตในฝันในฐานะนักรบมังกร ที่คอยคุ้มครองหุบเขาสันติภาพ ร่วมกับเพื่อนพ้องและอาจารย์กังฟูทั้งห้า ซึ่งได้แก่ พยัคฆ์เสือ, กระเรียนทอง, ตั๊กแตนจอมต่อย, อสรพิษไฟ และ เจ้าวานรแต่ชีวิตใหม่ของ โป กลับถูกคุกคามด้วยการปรากฏตัวของวายร้ายที่น่าสะพรึงกลัว ผู้วางแผนที่จะใช้อาวุธลับในการเข้ายึดครองประเทศจีนและทำลายกังฟู เป็นหน้าที่ของ โป และอาจารย์กังฟูทั้งห้า ที่จะต้องเดินทางข้ามจีนแผ่นดินใหญ่เพื่อเผชิญหน้าและกำจัดภัยคุกคามนี้ แต่ โป จะหยุดอาวุธที่สามารถหยุดยั้งพลังกังฟูได้ยังไงกันล่ะ เขาจะต้องมองย้อนกลับไปยังอดีตของตัวเอง เพื่อไขปริศนาที่มาอันลึกลับของตัวเอง เมื่อนั้นเขาจึงจะสามารถปลดพันธนาการพลังที่จำเป็นต่อความสำเร็จของเขาออกมาได้
